Our Aid in Syria

Our aid has also reached Syria, to Aleppo.
Here, a community of Salesian Sisters (including an Italian nun who has been working in the Middle East in the field of education for children and youth for 60 years) is helping the refugees who are gradually returning to their city, destroyed by war and earthquakes.
Here, they no longer find their homes and adapt to living among the rubble.
They need food, clothing, and as much accommodation as possible in more suitable housing.
The community also runs a kindergarten with 120 children and a youth center that welcomes Christians and Muslims in harmony, teaching them the path of peace and coexistence.
