In the heart of the Maasai community, on the border with Tanzania, the Chincherini Foundation<\/strong> continues its commitment to improving living conditions and promoting education. At the request of the Village Chief<\/strong>, the first intervention focused on renovating the school<\/strong>, which initially consisted of a simple shelter and accommodated only 20 children. <\/p>

<\/p>

Today, thanks to the Foundation\u2019s efforts, the school has grown: it now has three classrooms<\/strong> with walls and fixtures built in accordance with Maasai traditions and has been furnished with desks, chairs, and blackboards. The project has had a significant impact on the community: more and more children and young people, even from neighboring villages, want to study, bringing the number of students to 150<\/strong>. To provide them with a more secure and supportive learning environment, the initiative to offer two meals a day for each child<\/strong> is also ongoing. <\/p>

<\/p>

Looking ahead, there are plans to build additional classrooms to ensure access to education across all primary school grades.<\/p>

<\/p>

The right to basic education is one of the pillars of the Chincherini Foundation<\/strong>\u2019s mission\u2014a deeply cherished value of our late President, Helena Malm<\/strong>, who firmly believed in the power of education to build a better future.<\/p>

<\/p>

Another urgent need expressed by the community was for a well to access clean drinking water<\/strong>, as the village is currently not connected to a water supply network, and residents must walk long distances carrying tanks and containers. Despite initial difficulties caused by bad weather, work began: the well has been dug and water has been found. In recent months, water quality testing has been completed, and the pump’s energy system and a water collection basin have been installed. <\/p>
