The Museke Association<\/strong> was officially founded in 1969 on the initiative of Enrica Lombardi<\/strong>, who had already started an educational and health project in Burundi<\/strong> for the women and children of Gitega<\/strong> in the 1960s.
Since then, Museke has been working to promote human and social development in the poorest areas of the world, intervening over time in Rwanda, Guatemala, Bolivia, Burkina Faso and, on an ongoing basis, in Burundi, the historical heart of its mission.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The association implements projects in the education, health, and social<\/strong> sectors, supporting schools, vocational training centers, orphanages, and distance sponsorship programs for vulnerable children and families.
In Burundi<\/strong>, Museke carries out initiatives for orphaned and disabled children through projects such as Gateka <\/em>and Gateka Ka Enrica<\/em>, which combine rehabilitation, the training of local physiotherapists, and family support.
It also promotes economic empowerment and social inclusion, working with local congregations and rural communities to improve living conditions and create future opportunities, while upholding the dignity of every person.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The Germano Chincherini Foundation<\/strong> supports Museke in a project aimed at improving access to basic education for vulnerable children and youth in Gitega and Kiremba, helping to reduce the economic and social barriers that still prevent school attendance.
For many families, even the purchase of school materials represents an insurmountable obstacle.<\/p>

Thanks to this initiative, about 1,700 children and young people will benefit: 750 from Gitega, already involved in Museke\u2019s programs, and 950 from the Batwa communities of Kiremba, who attend the association\u2019s play centers.
The Foundation\u2019s donation has helped purchase school uniforms, backpacks, notebooks, and learning materials, giving many young people the opportunity to study, grow, and build a better future.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
