The Foundation helps save the life of little Héctor

On the other side of the world, in Venezuela, the Germano Chincherini Foundation has launched a new charitable initiative. Héctor, a three-month-old baby suffering from heart conditions, needed to undergo a life-saving surgery. Dr. Agati from Pediatric Cardiology in Taormina volunteered to perform the operation and contacted us.
The Foundation arranged the air tickets, handled the expatriation procedures, with the invaluable assistance of Ignazio Pollini, our contact for Jardín de la Esperanza in Venezuela, and welcomed the little one and his mother Leonela to Taormina, where they will spend the necessary recovery period. The surgery went well, and soon the little one will be able to return to Venezuela.

On September 29, José celebrated his 15th birthday in the hospital, surrounded by balloons, gifts, and affection.
In mid-October, he returned to Venezuela with a healed heart and the memory of a great family united in solidarity.
