The Germano Chincherini Foundation is a philanthropic organization established by the will of Germano Chincherini.
It operates in Italy and in low-income countries such as Kenya and Venezuela, supporting children, young people, and individuals in need by promoting projects in the fields of education, healthcare, and social welfare. Collaborates with charitable organizations while respecting local communities, with the aim of protecting the rights of children.
To Helena Malm (1941–2024)
With deep gratitude, we remember “Mrs. Helena,” co-founder of the Foundation alongside her husband. Her vision, passion, and dedication gave life to a project that, starting with the construction of the first wells and a primary school in Kenya, continues to make a difference in the lives of many people, both in Italy and around the world.
After the passing of her husband Germano, Helena chose to transform her grief into concrete actions to improve the lives of those facing daily challenges in accessing basic resources—beginning with the youngest.
Her empathy led to a tireless and collaborative commitment with local communities, always striving to meet real and urgent needs while never forgetting the respect and dignity of those who benefitted.
From the construction of water wells to the creation of group homes in Kenya, to funding educational and social initiatives for children in Venezuela, and the establishment of the DiPiù Café and Residence in the heart of Lake Garda, her goal has always been to leave a tangible and lasting impact, transforming solidarity into actions that continue to create change, addressing the needs of people, and especially of children.
Today, we continue her work and are committed to carrying forward her vision for a fairer world, where solidarity, inclusion, and collaboration with local communities are at the heart of our actions.
